1. Booking & Reservation Policies
Reservations can be made via our website, by emailing Holidays@windsurfer.com.au, or by calling (07) 5529 2300.
All bookings are subject to availability, and rates are confirmed at the time of reservation.
Quotes are valid only when given and may change thereafter.
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
Payment requirements:
- Standard bookings: full payment 7 days prior to arrival.
 - Peak period bookings: full payment 30 days prior to arrival.
 
Peak periods:
December 19, 2024 – January 27, 2025
April 6, 2024 – April 11, 2025
If payment terms are not met, Windsurfer Resort reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
2. Rates
All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice.
Verbal quotes are estimates only; written confirmation will be provided upon booking.
Occupancy and additional charges:
- Standard and Waterview Apartments: for up to two guests. Each additional adult will be charged $30 per night.
 - Family Rooms: for up to four guests. Additional adults will be charged $30 per night. Children aged 2–12 will be charged $15 per night.
 
3. Cancellation Policy
You may modify or cancel your booking up to 7 days prior to arrival at no charge, or according to the terms of the third-party booking platform used.
- Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will incur a 100% charge.
 - No-shows will be charged 100% of the booking amount.
 - For peak period bookings:
 - Cancellations or modifications can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival at no charge.
 - Cancellations within 30 days of arrival or no-shows will be charged 100% of the booking amount.
 
4. Additional Charges
Windsurfer Resort reserves the right to charge guests for any of the following:
- Damage, breakage, or loss of property
 - Missing items
 - Lost keys
 - Excessive cleaning
 - Unpaid balances or incidental expenses incurred during the stay
 
5. Pre-authorisation Policy
A valid credit card is required at check-in for pre-authorisation.
Windsurfer Resort reserves the right to pre-authorise a reasonable amount on your card to cover incidentals, potential damages, or unpaid charges during your stay.
- Pre-authorisation is not a charge but a temporary hold on funds.
 - The held amount may vary depending on the length of stay and room type.
 - Your bank will automatically release the hold, typically within 3–10 business days after check-out (timing depends on your financial institution).
 - If damages, excessive cleaning, or unpaid charges are identified, the applicable amount will be charged to the card on file.
 - By providing your credit card details, you authorise Windsurfer Resort to process such pre-authorisations and subsequent charges in accordance with this policy.
 
6. Guest Conduct, Visitors & Noise Policy
Windsurfer Resort aims to provide a peaceful and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Noise Policy:
Quiet hours apply after 10:00 PM. Please avoid loud conversations, disruptive behaviour, or using entertainment systems at volumes that may disturb others.
Visitor Policy:
All visitors must register at Reception upon arrival. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the resort’s amenities, provided they comply with the noise policy and respect other guests.
Behavioural Expectations:
Guests must act respectfully toward other guests and staff. Unruly, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
Management reserves the right to refuse accommodation or remove guests from the premises without refund in cases of misconduct or excessive noise.
7. Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms and common areas.
Evidence of smoking inside rooms will incur a $200 cleaning fee.
8. Privacy Policy
Any personal information collected, including email addresses, will be stored securely and accessed only by authorised employees as needed to fulfil our service obligations.
Your privacy and data security are important to us.
9. Changes Beyond Our Control
Windsurfer Resort will not be liable for failure to fulfil obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, strikes, lockouts, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or other unforeseen events.
10. Liability
Guests acknowledge that Windsurfer Resort does not accept liability for injury, loss, damage, or additional expenses caused directly or indirectly by events beyond our control, including weather events or power disruptions. Guests agree not to make any claims relating to such occurrences.
11. Website Disclaimer
Windsurfer Resort strives to ensure all website information is accurate and reliable.
However, errors or omissions may occur. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for purpose.
Rates, availability, and other details are subject to change without notice.
Windsurfer Resort reserves the right to revise content, services, and pricing at any time without obligation to notify past, current, or prospective guests.
